The Maple Hat

The Maple Hat is named for the beautiful red and orange leaves that come out during the fall around my home in Idaho. It uses the Fishermen's Rib stitch in the body, creating a warm winter beanie. It would be a good hat for beginning knitters who want to go beyond the basic knit and purl stitches.

The pattern is for a one-size-fits-all hat. The given pattern should fit most adults.
