Product Description
The honeybee sweater is a fun and squishy two-colour raglan sweater worked top down in the round in one piece, first the neckband is worked and folded and then the yoke is worked in raglan style. The sleeves and body are separated and worked individually. The sweater has a straight, oversize, boxy fit so the chest circumference goes for the whole body. The neckline is wide and elongated along the shoulders but if you want a tighter neckline size down the needles in the neck section or add an elastic to it.
Gauge: 20 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm in honeycomb pattern on 5 mm needles, after washing and blocking.
Techniques needed: Knitting in the round, german short rows, slipping stitches, double knitting, knitted cast on or backloop cast on, italian/tubular bind off.
