Product Description
“There was something wild about a godswood; even here, in the heart of the castle at the heart of the city, you could feel the old gods watching with a thousand unseen eyes.” These are the thoughts of Sansa Stark.
The pattern includes both written and charted instructions. I have separated them into 2 complete patterns. To save paper and space, download either the Charted Version or the Written Version - or both if you prefer!
Choose either a fingering (3.50mm needle) or sport weight yarn (3.75mm needle). I recommend avoiding yarns with a lot of variegation as this tends to diminish the beauty of the lace work. I’ve chosen Madelinetosh Pashmina in the color Tart to represent the leaves of the tree and a second shawl knit using Madelinetosh Sock in the color Silver Fox which brings to mind the trunk of the Weirwood.
