Product Description

Make cute little teddy bear shaped coasters with this crochet pattern. Perfect for encouraging little ones to use coasters, to protect your tables.
The finished coasters measure approx. 8cm/3.25” in diameter excluding the ears, or 10cm/4” including the ears.
I have used Rico Creative Cotton Aran (Worsted weight) yarn, with a 4.5mm hook. I have used colours Brown (58) or Black (90) for the face, Nougat (56) for the main brown colour, and Clay (51) for the beige muzzle and ears.
You can use any Aran/Worsted weight yarn, but I would recommend using cotton for better absorption, and heat resistance if using for hot drinks.
Exact gauge isn’t important. Just try to keep your stitches fairly compact to minimise gaps and maximise absorbency.
