Tar-Sgàil Hat

Meaning “crosshatching” in Scottish Gaelic, Tar-Sgàil is a simple but fun hat pattern designed to show off any yarn to its best! The hat features textured ribbed columns running from brim to crown, giving beautiful texture while still being a simple and quick knit. Wear with the matching socks, mitts and cowl to stay warm from head to toes!

The pattern is fully written with a chart for the textured pattern and also includes a photo tutorial for a super stretchy cast-on called the Estonian Cast-On for the brim of the hat.
