Tapestry technique numbers

With these numbers you can individualize crocheted pieces as for example clothes, blankets or buntings with dates of birth, wedding or other important events. This tutorial will accompany you step by step to integrated numbers from 0 to 9. Pictures and diagrams will help you to understand the production process.

This tutorial does not include crochet basics, but requires some experience. The following techniques are used: chain stitch, double crochet, colour change, crochet in rows (UK crochet stitch terms).

If you use cotton yarn with a yardage of 280y/3.5oz (125m/50g) and a hook size 2.5, the letters will become about 4,5 cm high. Any other yarn can be used.
