Tangential thinking

Sometimes you need to come at things sideways. So, while you ponder the wonders and knotty problems of the world, soothe and divert your mind with a simple hat (without, we hope) too many knotty problems at all.

Hat is knit bottom up in the round.

**Sizes :**Choose a size approx. 10cm (4 in) less than your actual head size for a snug fit.

Yarn and yardageTwo contrasting aran weight yarns. I used West Yorkshire Spinners The Croft, Shetland Colours. Colour A: Tresta (purple) and Colour B: Clousta (multi-coloured speckled yarn).
