Swirly Whirly Pompom & Bun Hat

This pattern contains the workings for both the pompom hat and messy bun hat with two different brim options. You can choose the type of hat and brim you wish to make.

The pattern contains colour coded workings for all 4 sizes in both style of hat and both types of brim.

The pattern notes describe how the size can be adjusted if required.

This pattern is worked in the round from the base of the hat to the top of the hat, the brim is then worked out from the base of the hat. The design has the brim folded over once the pattern has been worked.

I've found that 1 x 100g ball works for the preschool size of the pompom hat however 2 x 100g balls are required for the other sizes. Less yardage is needed if using a ready made pompom. Less yardage is also required for the messy bun version of the pattern.
