This downloadable PDF pattern from King Cole provides instructions for knitting sweaters in a range of five sizes, with finished chest measurements from 71/76 cm (28/30 in) up to 112/117 cm (44/46 in). The pattern is designed for intermediate-level knitters and produces garments suitable for various body sizes and fit preferences.
These sweaters are knitted in King Cole Super Chunky yarn, a thick and substantial fiber weight that creates quick, satisfying projects. Super chunky yarn is ideal for creating cozy, textured garments with excellent drape and warmth. The pattern specifies a tension of 10 stitches and 14 rows to 10 centimeters (4 inches) over stocking stitch, which helps ensure proper sizing and fit across all five size options.
The sweater construction employs several fundamental knitting techniques appropriate for intermediate crafters:
The pattern provides clear row-by-row instructions with size variations indicated in brackets throughout. Abbreviations used include rs for right side, alt for alternate, and standard knitting notation for stitches. The design includes shaping at both the neckline and armholes, with decreases worked systematically to create a well-fitted garment across all five size options.
King Cole supports charitable causes through their pattern sales, with a donation made to the Pink Ribbon Foundation for every pattern purchased, adding purpose to your crafting project.

Almost finished the sweater and it looks great. Chose Gypsy wool and it knits up well and looks pretty in the Autumn shade.
