Surfline Top

Kitted short sleeve tee inspired by the beauty of the sea spray of waves running along an island shore and the mesmerizing color contrast of the sea at noon. One can see the foam on top of the waves at the surf line near the beach at the top of the yoke and the beautiful “white horses” formed away from and shore in the lower part of the body.

The piece is knitted top down, seamlessly, with round scalloped yoke, providing for minimum ease of not more than 5 cm so it is advisory to go up a size if more ease is required.

The scalloped yoke features textured design combined with mosaic colorwork, while the bottom of the body is embellished with an extremely simple fair isle colorwork combined with textured design.

The design is intended for a 10 ply/aran/worsted cottonto ensure enough structure and texture but still preserve the “summer” look and feeling.

All stitch patterns are both charted and with written instructions to facilitate knitting the top by all types of knitters.
