Striped Dr Who type scarf
Be bold and create this lovely cosy multi-coloured scarf, and use up your stash at the same time. It uses a provisional cast on and is knitted in the round so it is a double thickness when laid flat. This also means no purling! Both ends are then bound off flat using a 3 needle bind off. The pattern is designed for DK (light /medium worsted) weight but any yarn can be used. Gather many colours of similar weight yarns and pick them at random while knitting your scarf. Uses approximately 150g.
Scarf shown uses a total weight of 150g of Rowan Pure Wool DK yarn & spare yarn for provisional cast on. Suggested substitute yarns and shades are below.
