This sweater was created from the idea of having only seven stripes to a sweater, whatever the size or gauge. The resulting stripe makes a strong, self-assured statement. "Here I am. Seven stripes is just enough. Seven is a magic number." The design is knit bottom-up contiguous, which ensures a perfect fit for shoulders and sleeve caps. It's knit in the round until the last rows of the neckline, when you will knit back and forth. Choose a cool summery yarn, or a smooth merino for winter – it will work equally well. The bold stripe support solid as well as variegated and space-dyed yarns. No neck band, no ribbed edging so nothing detracts from the seven stripe statement.
