Straight Granny Hearts

After many requests I have finally written and tested the straight granny hearts

Materials 1000 metres/1095 yards of DK/8ply yarn (this will work with most yarns and the appropriate hook for the chosen yarn) H/8-5.00 mm hook Needle for sewing in ends US Terms used Chain = Ch Double crochet =Dc Foundation single crochet = fsc 3 double crochet together over the next 3 stitches = dc3tog 5 double crochet together over the next 5 stitches = dc5tog Gauge is not important for this pattern Use the recommended hook for the yarn you are using Notes: you will turn your work after each row Chain stitches are always counted Stitches in ** are repeated Stitches in () are the stitch count Stitches in {} are the heart stitches Ch 3 at the start of every row counts as a double crochet This blanket is worked from the top down, the colour you start with will be at the top of the blanket
