Sternanis

STERNANIS is the German word for star anise. To be honest, the combination of brown and yellow reminds me on my childhood, when I was dressed in yellow, brown and orange striped long sleeved shirts or short skirts.  Still it´s my favorite color choice in November, when there is so little sun light around here.   I am sure, everyone of you has got his very own memories combined with this two colors.

The STERNANIS hat has no brim, is very stretchy and well-fitting at the same time.   

I really would love to make you trying brioche knitting. So I have attempted to keep the pattern simple, based on the basic brioche stitches, increases and decreases.  Although it looks like cabled stitches, there is no need for a cable needle. You can do it, knitters!
