Stay At Home Shawl

When the world is in turmoil and everything is uncertain, when (for most of us) staying at home is the only thing we can do, it’s time to cast on an easy project that keeps your mind occupied and your hands busy, while not adding any more stress. The Stay at Home shawl is just that project – easy, but not mindless and with lots of textural interest!

Yarn: 2 colors of Fingering weight + 1 color of Mohair-Silk lace

Yardage: 350 m / 383 yds of Color A (fingering), 240 m / 262 yds of Color B (lace), 284 m / 311 yds of Color C (fingering)

Gauge: 25 sts / 32 rows = 10 cm / 4” in garter stitch in fingering weight (after blocking)

In turbulenten, unsicheren Zeiten, wenn (für die meisten von uns) zu Hause bleiben das einzige ist, dass wir tun können, ist Stricken eine wunderbare Ablenkung. Dabei sollte das Strickmuster zugleich anspruchsvoll und abwechslungsreich sein, aber auch einfach und entspannend genug, damit es nicht zusätzlichen Stress macht.
