Springtime beanie

With a simple eyelet pattern this beanie will keep you toasty in style throughout the winter and early springtime. It is knitted flat and seamed, and the instructions include six sizes:

To fit head circumference: 36 (40, 44, 48, 51, 55) cm / 14 (15.5, 17, 18.5, 20, 21.5)" Approx: up to 1 year, 1-2 years, 3-4 years, 5-10 years, teen/small adult, med/large adult

Yarn: 35 (40, 50, 60, 70, 80) g 106 (122, 137, 153, 183, 230) yds 98 (112, 125, 140, 168, 210, 252) m I used Hayfield Bonus DK, ‘Fern Green’, an easy care acrylic yarn. If you use a different yarn please check the tension and yardage, as this can vary significantly between different brands and fibres.

Needles: 3.75mm and 4mm straight needles, or size needed to obtain a gauge of 22sts and 30 rows to 10cm
