Special Care Baby Blanket

This SCBU baby blanket knitting pattern was created following a request from a hospital for a simple, practical blanket suitable for use in Special Care Baby Units (SCBU). We also understand that, when the baby goes home, the blanket may go with them, although this will depend on the hospital's policy.

Knitted in double knitting (DK) yarn, the blanket features a textured triangle pattern with no holes for little fingers to become caught.

The finished blanket measures approximately 60 × 70 cm (24 × 28 inches).
