A beautifully patterned sock that uses the simple technique of mosaic slipped stitches, SnÖdroppe Socks are a delightful introduction to the world of colorwork. The colorwork portion of the socks is charted. Yarn needed is one full skein of sock yarn (375-400 yards), plus a small amount of contrasting yarn (60-80 yards). As written, the pattern uses the "magic loop" method; however, you may choose to use double pointed needles or 2 circular needles. The pattern can easily be resized for a man or young teen.
