Sloth

Sloth is defined as being physical and emotionally inactive or failing to do things one is supposed to do. These socks are perfectly suited to a quiet day at home. Put up your feet and veg out on the couch all day, these socks will keep your feet warm while you’re at it! Even the knitting itself is fast and easy: the socks knit up fast in DK weight yarn and the mock cable on the heel and back of leg are very easy to do, but still look impressive. Minimal work for a fancy result! There’s a reason Bill Gates said: “I choose a lazy person to do a hard job. Because a lazy person will find an easy way to do it.”

Gauge is 5 stitches per inch and 7 rows per inch in stockinette.

• 300 meters (328 yards) of DK weight sock yarn
• 3.5 mm (US 4) double pointed or circular needles
• Cable needles
• Stitch markers
• Tapestry needle
