Silk Tank

Silk Tank, a must have for the summer. It is worked from the top down. Working the back yoke first with increases. Then working the back shoulders by picking up stitches and working back and forth down to the armholes. A slipped stitch edging is worked at the same time for a smooth finish around the armhole. Then picking up shoulder stitches for the front and working back and forth until casting in stitches for the neckline before connecting the front shoulder pieces and working down to the armhole as for the back. After the armhole shaping is complete, the work is joined in the round for the body with a 1x1 ribbing along the sides for added shaping and finally the tank is finished with a ribbed hem.
