Silfil

This simple short row crescent shawl is knit with two different yarn weights. The body is knit in a dk weight and the lace border in a heavier metallic worsted weight on larger needles.

With the simple seamless wrap and turn short rows the lace border nicely accents the lower edge.

412 yds of dk weight for body (with 4.0mm needles - 40" ) (gauge: 22 sts x 28 rows = 4")

150 yds of metallic worsted weight for lace border (5.0mm needles - 40") (gauge: 20sts x 20 rows = 4")
