If your yarn stash is overflowing with beautiful leftovers from past projects, the Serendipity Sack is the perfect way to turn those remnants into something practical and beautiful. This pattern encourages creativity by combining yarns already in your stash - especially cottons, linens, and small amounts of acrylics.
Before beginning, it may help to organize yarn by fiber, quantity, or color. For best structure and durability, pairing at least one strand of mercerized cotton with a remnant yarn is recommended. Mercerized cotton adds strength, luster, reduced shrinkage, and excellent stitch definition.
Because this is a stash-friendly project, yarn amounts will vary. The joy of this design is creating a unique, usable bag from yarn you already own.
