I love minis skeins and swaps and this pillow pattern came about as a way to show off all those mini skeins, scraps and leftovers! I wanted to have a way to knit a pillow with minis that was adaptable to any size of pillow form, and it’s so fun to choose a theme…I did a Halloween version, but a solid, striped or randomly scrappy pillow is fun too! If you create a magic knot ball there won’t even be ends to weave in!
A 15 inch pillow used about 150 grams or 600 yards of fingering weight yarn. The pattern is easily adaptable to other weights of yarn, just by choosing a corresponding needle size.
