This pattern was a labour of love for me and uses traditional gansey construction and techniques throughout. It is not a quick knit due to the small gauge but will produce an heirloom garment which should last a lifetime.

**Finished chest ** 112 (118, 123, 130, 135, 141, 146, 152) cm [44, 46.5, 48.5, 51, 53, 55.25, 57.25, 59.75) in]

Sleeve length 47 (48, 48, 48, 49, 50, 50, 50) cm [18.5 (19, 19, 19, 19.25, 19.75, 19.75, 19.75) in]

Designed to be worn with approx 7.5-10cm [3-4in] positive.

Originally ganseys were worn tight. If preferred, choose a size with approx 5cm [2in] positive ease. You may need to lengthen the sleeves a little to compensate, but as they are worked top down this is very easy to adjust.
