Safe as Houses Tablet Cover

Knit a cosy home for your iPad or tablet, with a scalloped roof and 2-colour brick stitch pattern. This is a simple slip cover for your tablet; you can make yours extra secure by adding snap fasteners under the roof flap to keep it closed. This pattern also incorporates a scallop stitch, Kitchener stitch grafting, and picking up and knitting along an edge. For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, decreases, and seaming to finish. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the cover is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). The case is 21cm wide x 26cm tall (designed to fit an 11 inch iPad/tablet, which generally have measurements of height 25cm x width 18cm).
