Rufus - Blanket

Made with a reversible geometric pattern, this blanket is simpler to knit than it is to say ‘double parallelogram!’

Written in English using UK terms, row by row instructions are included.

Skills required: Cast on Knit Purl Cast off

Approximate size after blocking: Length: 34in Width: 26in

(Please note that I found this blanket gained a couple of inches during the blocking process – expect it to be slightly smaller before blocking.)

Yarn: I used Women’s Institute Soft and Smooth Aran (pictured in Blue and Grey) but any yarn that meets the weight/tension requirements would be suitable.

Tension: 18sts and 24 rows to 4 in/10cm square over st st using 5mm/#8 needles

Yarn Weight: Aran/Worsted

Yardage: 310gms/520m approx.
