Rowan Cotton Wool

I was disappointed with the feel of the wool, it felt a little like acrylic rather than a cotton. I haven’t worked with it as yet, so I can’t comment on how it knits. I have a jumper pattern in mind. It is not as nice as I had hoped, and I am concerned how it will feel once knitted up.

A beautiful organic yarn. Perfect for the baby clothes I am making. I have made two garments in this yarn and they are beautiful.

I love this wool for baby knits, very soft, like knitting a cloud. Though it is handwash, babies don't tend to get muddy, they dont play rugby!! I love the muted colours and I often choose by name of colour, which are so cute, piglet, naptime mush!!

lovely and soft, easy to handle and glides though the fingers nicely. Took me a few attempts to get the tension right as the yarn is so soft, but once I did the project flew together

Love this yarn. It is light but yet plums up nicely. Great selection of colors. My one concern would be that ribbing won’t spring back. It was a little hard to add a new skein as it seems to show where I added a new skein.

It’s a lovely soft yarn and some of the colours are good, others wish washy, but the knitted stitch definition is poor and untidy, so for the full price it’s not worth it, only at the very heavily discounted price is it worth maybe for baby clothes. I plan to see if it crochets any better.
