Product Description
Rotdorn is a red variety of the hawthorn scrub. The little nupps in the pattern reminded me of the berry the hawthorn.
You can choose if you want the pattern to be on the left or right side of the sock, the pattern will be on the opposite side on the back of the leg. The heel is worked with a gusset and a slip-stitch heel, no picking up stitches.
Size: 20.5, 23, 25.5 cm (8, 9, 10 inches) foot circumference
Needles: 2.5mm (US 1 1/2) circular needles or DPN to work in the round.
Yarn: Regia 4 ply 2 skeins 75% wool, 25% polyamide; 210 meters per 50g ball in anthrazit.
Difficulty: basic sock knitting, cables, twisted stitches, nupps.
