Rota Cardigan

Rota Cardigan is worked from the top down. The back is worked first to the base of the armholes. Stitches are then picked up for the right and left fronts, which are worked separately to the armholes. The fronts and back are then joined and worked flat to the hem. Sleeves are picked up and worked in the round, and the front band is picked up and worked in double knitting.

Gauge / With 5 mm (US 8) needle:

19 sts x 23 rows = 10 x 10cm / 4 x 4” in stockinette stitch after blocking. (This is provided for knitters to make a swatch and to use it as a guideline when selecting yarn)

Recommended ease: 0~40cm / 0~15.75”
