Quilt Structure and Design

The quilt is composed of three main structural sections: the quilt center, an inner border, and an outer border.

Quilt Center

Six 11½" squares are sewn together into two rows of three squares each, with seam allowances pressed in opposite directions to allow seams to nest neatly when rows are joined.
