Ravenlight Cardigan

Ravenlight is a relaxed cardigan with a loose fit and generous sleeves. The sample cardigan is short in length, but it’s easy to knit it longer because it is worked from the top down. The stitch pattern is a simple eyelet lace that is easy to memorize.

Recommended positive ease 8″ / 20 cm.

GAUGE:

24 sts and 32 rows = 4 × 4″ / 10 × 10 cm in lace stitch pattern with larger (US 4 / 3.5 mm) needles. Wet blocked.

26 sts and 34 rows = 4 × 4″ / 10 × 10 cm in ribbing with smaller (US 2.5 / 3 mm) needles. Wet blocked.

The sample was knitted with 2 yarns held together to give fingering/sport-weight gauge:

Regia Premium silk 4 ply (55% merino, 25% polyamide, 20% silk 100 g / 437 yds / 400 m per skein).

Rva Silmusolmu Mohair Silkki (72% mohair, 28% silk, 50g / 459 yds / 420 m per skein).
