The pattern is a top-down dress or tunic, made rather for colder weather, as the texture is only moderately lacy.
The dress took about 5 (50 gramm) skeins to make. It will probably take less, if made from a lighter yarn.
I have designed the pattern for the little daughter of a friend, and she just loves it.
