I purchased some wool for a hoodie I was going to knit for my son. Lovely wool colour. However, I did have a skein with 4 knots, two were less than 12inches apart. I don't blame Lovecraft. The blame is with the manufacturer: Brisbane of the Queensland Collection, lot 201904, colour 119 Rosewood.
It's an alright yarn and easy to use.
