Pretty Little Thing Shawl

This is a very simple shawl that when made with color changing cake yarn and a slightly larger hook, creates a beautiful lacy look with little effort.

Can be made as a large wrap, medium shawl, or a small scarf. Any yarn. Any hook. Any size. Your choice!

I used both Red Heart "It's a Wrap Rainbow" yarn in Whisper (the green shawl) as well as Lion Brand "Ombre Life" in colorway Cloudy Day. The tan/white shawl in the pictures.

Any of the yarn suggestions, you would just need one ball/cake of those yarns. The yardage will vary depending on whether you want a small, medium or large. Yardage will range 500-800 yards.

This shawl can actually be made with any yarn and hook that you choose.

Choose a hook that is a couple sizes larger than suggested on the yarn label.

There is a lace edging that looks difficult, but is quite easy. If you are a true beginner, you can skip the lace edging and either add fringe or leave as is. Either way will be lov
