Posh Pink Baby Booties

About The Pattern

After i made my “Lovely Pink in Blue Sock”, i tried to make the baby booties version of it and thats why Posh Pink Baby Booties were made :). This booties could be for baby girl or boy by changing the combination of the colour as per what you desired. The pattern used colorwork technique, start from the bottom (sole) and work up in a round using DPN needle until the ribbing, then finally seam the sole at the end.

Yarn

I used Acrylic Wool DK 8 ply (Brand Unity), but you could use any type of yarn as long as it meet the gauge. I used colour Grey (colour A) and colour pink (colour B) for this booties, but we could combine different colour if we want to as long as its contrast in colour so we could see the pattern.

Needle and Tools

5 DPN (Double Pointed Needle) needle size 3.5 mm and tapestry needle.

Size

Finish size for 0-4 months old.

Gauge

22 sts x 28 Row = 4 inch x 4 inch
