PNW Bucket Hat & Cowl

The PNW Bucket Hat was inspired by the gorgeous colors in the hand dyed Alpacas of York yarn I purchased at the Maryland Alpaca and Fleece Festival. With shades of orange, golden yellow and greens, this yarn had to become a hat and cowl as I can see this set being worn on short hike to see the changing leaves of the Pacific Northwest.

This crochet pattern include two versions of the hat for the perfect level of warmth for your winter. One version has two rows of open stitches, and the second version uses a overaly technique to create a solid hat for added warmth.

The triangle bandana cowl is made with the same mix of X-stitches and double crochet for warmth and drape to wear on top of or under your fall and winter coats.
