Pigs in Blankets Tea Cosy

Could this be the perfect tea cosy for people who love pigs? TeaCosyFolk have designed a festive Christmas tea cosy with pigs wrapped in blankets, but there's no sausage or bacon in sight.

This Christmas tea cosy of pigs in their blankets has the pigs knitted and sewn on first and then the blankets are put on after.

The blanket is knitted in strips and then the long strips are sewn together, so there are no charts or intarsia to knit, it's really simple. Some of the squares on the blanket have also been embroidered to add interest. The colours of the blankets are bright and Christmas inspired, but you could use any colours you like. It's great for yarn stash busting.

There is a help video to accompany this knitting pattern that can be found on Youtube, to show you how to finish the blankets. And there is another video to show you how to turn the pigs into Christmas baubles for your Christmas tree.

It's a brilliant tea cosy for anyone who loves pigs and Christmas.
