Peacock on a Walk

Made with gorgeous Gleem Lace yarn, Peacock on a Walk can be a scarf or a stole, depending of how many inner pattern repeats are worked. It is crocheted bottom up in one piece and can be made to any length. The lace border repeats (“feathers”) are added as you go.

The scarf is easy and fun to make, but assumes at least an intermediate crochet skill level because of its construction, use of post stitches and a rather unusual method of creating picot. However, once you get the pattern, you will sail through this project.

The measurements listed are guidelines. Make a narrow scarf or turn it into a stole by working extra repeats of the inner stitch pattern.
