Product Description
For your partners in life, fun, crime and mischief. This one is all about the details: the bottom edge has a neat contrast of colour; and the decreases are also worked in a contrasting colour for a sharp, cool, finish. Try in a variegated yarn with a saturated solid for contrast if your partner is crazy or in contrasting naturals if they are calm. You'll need about 10-20m of a contrasting yarn for the crown and brim.
Also available as part of the Design your own dream hat ebook.
I used a shetland-type wool for this, but you can use any wool or acrylic yarn with which you can achieve gauge. Self- striping yarns create a great effect on the crown. Try it in naturals for your calm partners and vareigated yarns with contrasting saturated solids for your crazy ones.
Sizing
Age/size bands are for guidance only: choose a size approx. 5 cm (2 in) less than your actual head circumference for a snug fit; for a slouchy fit choose up to zero ease.
