Tailored + fitted, classic + romantic, the Palina Cardigan was inspired by Polish fashion designer + tailor Palina Karnei. This sweater is the perfect knitwear complement to the handsewn garments she designs and creates out of her studio in Krakow, Poland.
With five different versions: Vest, Fitted Sleeves, Short Puffed Sleeves, Soft Bishop Sleeves + Full Bishop Sleeves, there’s a Palina Cardigan for every occasion. From day to night, work to weekend, library to date night.
The Palina Cardigan is knit in a worsted weight yarn from the bottom up in pieces: Back, Left Front, Right Front, Sleeves, Buttonbands. It is then blocked, seamed together and given buttons (with matching backing buttons for stability). The Short Puffed Sleeve version has a crocheted Sleeve Head Ruffle to add volume in the shoulder.
