Disappointed with yarn fineness
I'm disappointed with this yarn as it seems finer than a usual DK. Knitting 22 stitches and 30 rows measures only 3 1/4" square with 4mm needles. I knit every single day and have done for most of my life. My knitting is not tight and I never have an issue with tension on other projects. I think you should be looking at the yarn! I have Paintbox Simply DK yarns in my stock and the yarns are very different although the test square info is the same.
Hello, thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. While the thickness of yarn can vary slightly between yarns, it should still fall within the expected range for its stated weight. I’d be happy to look into this further for you, and I’ve sent you an email with some additional information to help us investigate. When you have a chance, please reply to my email with the requested details, and we’ll be happy to assist you.
