Oscar the Octopus Amigurumi

Say hello to Oscar the Octopus. Did you know that an Octopus has three hearts? That just means that Oscar can love you three times as much!

This pattern requires no sewing to assemble, you’ll only have to get your sewing needle out to embroider the mouth.

This pattern is written with US crochet notation and is an advanced beginner pattern, some crochet knowledge of basic stitches is required. Not recommended for complete beginners, but the pattern does include step by step instructions and pictures to help you.

Using the materials suggested this octopus measures 24cm (9.5in) tall and 45cm (17.75in) wide. Any yarn can be used with this pattern with an appropriate size crochet hook to create a tight tension, although other yarns may affect the size of the finished toy. Suggested materials: Chunky (Bulky 5) 100% polyester chenille yarn, 5mm crochet hook, 20mm safety eyes and toy stuffing.
