Oompa - Loompa

for this adorable Oompa-Loompa is written in the amigurumi style. You can use any DK yarn and a 4mm hook or worsted weight and a 5mm hook (this one will turn out a little bigger)

This is a great stash buster.

Gauge doesn't matter as long as you use the same hook throughout.

You will need green, orange, brown and white yarn all in the same weight category. 8mm safety eyes, or embroidery thread if you prefer. toy stuffing.

The original Oompa Loompas were all played by individual actors in this 1971 movie and they varied in size and shape greatly, so if yours is a little larger, taller or fatter then you may need to make the belly straps a little longer. But that just makes them all the more authentic.
