This is a beautiful, versatile pattern that can be made with 3 or 4 weight cotton or acrylic yarn. When you make it with 3 or 4 weight cotton it is perfect for the beach or a day outdoors. When made with 4 weight acrylic is a perfect and stylish winter accessory! And it is completely unisex!

Materials:

– Any size 3 weight cotton or 4 weight acrylic or cotton yarn will probably work; For my 3 weight hats, I used Yarn Bee Sugarwheel Cotton in Sprinkles on Top and Just Turquoise. And for my 4 weight acrylic hats I used Lion Brand Mandala Tweed Stripes in Knock on Wood. *Make sure if you are using 3 weight that it is not super thin 3 weight.

– Size G/6-4.25 and H/8 5.00mm Crochet Hook (I use Boye)

I crochet loose, if you do not, you may need to go up a hook size, or add an extra pattern repeat.

– Tapestry Needle

Yardage depends on size, but pattern requires 90 yards for the 0-3 Months up to 204 Yards for the Adult Large size.
