shawlette uses about 175 (12g) of 6/0 beads & 350-390 yds (344-360m), approx 23" x 45" (58cm x 113cm)
shawl uses about 335 (24g) of 6/0 beads & 530-575 yds (522-566m), approx 30" x 52" (75cm x 130cm)
Top down construction.
Use a US steel 11-12 (1.3mm) crochet hook for the beading. NO STRINGING.
