Mystery forest shawl

Mystery forest shawl made using traditional Shetland lace knitting. It is made in garter stitch, so the shawl is double-sided; it looks the same on the right and wrong side. Traditional patterns that have been used: shawl’s body: Madeira and Diamond pattern; shawl’s border: Rosebuds clusters, Heart, Tree of Life patterns. This is a triangular shawl, worked top down. A lace weight yarn is recommended. Choose a yarn with approximately 600 – 1000 meters / 660 – 1100 yards per 100 grams. Recommended circular needle size for the shawl is US1½ – US6 (2.5 – 4 mm); 40” (100cm) or longer. The shawl can be made larger or smaller by working one of the charts less or more times.

Для вязания шали рекомендуется пряжа из натуральных волокон, метраж 600 – 1000 м / 100 г. Рекомендуемый размер спиц: 2,5 – 4 мм. Размер зависит от того, сколько раз провязана одна из схем, а также от метража пряжи и размера спиц. Шаль вяжется сверху вниз, имеет треугольную форму.
