MATERIALS Sport weight/Light DK/Fine (5ply) Circular needle Size 2/US (2.75 mm) or size needed to obtain below gauge (gauge in Pattern); Small Cable needle (CN) (or you could small double pointed needle instead); Scissors, tapestry needle'

GAUGE: In Cable pattern- 30 stitches x 36 rows = 4 x 4

KNITTING METHOD: The hat and cowl are knitted flat from bottom up (not in the round), sides are sewn together at the end.
