My Crown Jewel Mosaic Afghan

This is a 40 stitch x 100 row repeat pattern. Overlay mosaic.

You can choose how many repeats you want to do to get the size you want. I did 4 x 2 repeats. This would result in a finished size of about 85cm x 98cm, excluding border. My testers used different yarn and have different tensions, so their finished sizes were slightly different. Please note tension. yarn and hook size with result in different sizes.

I used approximately 300g each of 2 colours in a DK yarn (300m/100g) with a 4 mm hook. You will need more yarn if you do more repeats or have a different tension.

What you get: 1 chart. A short tutorial on overlay mosaic crochet. Written pattern with photos in both US and UK terms.Note There are no instructions for a border. Either tie ends to form a fringe, complete with a double/envelope border or use the endless/clean mosaic crochet technique.
