Mr. Batty the bat

With this easy pattern, you can make a super realistic looking flying bat.

Size If you use the recommended yarn, your bat will have a wingspan of 18.5 inch/ 22 cm

For this crochet bat you’ll need worsted weight yarn (Lètt Lopi) and an E US/3.5 mm crochet hook. You’ll need two colours: sheep black and murky brown. You can make at least 4 bats with one skein of each colour. For the eyes I’ve used 7 mm animal eyes. You also need fibrefill to stuff the bat and I would recommend the use of pipe cleaners to make the wings steady, but only if the bat is not made for little children. Lopi colour numbers: 0052 and 1420.
