Product Description
This design is a mix of Tunisian crochet and regular crochet. The cowl is worked in one piece - a rectangle of patterned Tunisian crochet is sewn together along the short edges, then the regular crochet edging is worked in the round along one edge. If desired, the regular crochet could be left off, and the Tunisian stitches repeated to make a wider cowl.
I used two different yarns for this design, but you could use just the one yarn - about 150g of fingering/4ply/weight 2 yarn is required. For this weight yarn, a 6mm Tunisian hook with a 60cm extension and a 5mm regular hook is required to give drape.
